We make an editing tool for novelists. It runs structured editorial passes on your prose (a copy edit, a line edit, a proofread) and shows every suggested change as a diff, so you accept it, reject it, or rewrite it your own way. It never writes a word for you. The editing itself runs through our AI service; your chapter files stay on your disk, exactly as you left them. Before we open to everyone, we want a small group of writers using it on real manuscripts, so we find what is broken while there is still time to fix it. That group is the closed beta.
What you get:
- Free full access for the whole beta. No card, no trial clock.
- A Founding Author number reserved for you. Numbers 1 to 30 are held for beta testers. If you take a paid subscription when we launch, one of them is yours. The reservation is real and it expires at launch.
- A free Book Pack at launch, credited to your account.
What we ask back:
- Use it on a real manuscript. Not a test file. The book you are actually writing.
- Two short check-ins. One early, one near the end. Around ten minutes each. We tell you when and what we are asking.
- Permission before we ever quote you. If something you say would make a good quote, we show you the exact words and where we would use them, and you say yes or no. No reply is a no. Your name or your initials, your choice.
That is the whole deal. There is nothing else in the small print.
We admit writers in small batches and read every application by hand, so applying is not a guaranteed place. The one thing we weigh most is whether you have a real book to bring. Tell us about it below.
